And don’t anyone waste your time on this. The heroine didn’t change her silly behavior throughout, save a few tender moments with our hero. They kept sidetracking to other storylines and characters who were mainly, imo, a distraction for a poorly written story. The main bad guy was a childhood friend of the heroine’s who carried a torch for her and did bad things as a result of her rejection. For the life of me, I don’t see what either man saw in her besides the fact that she was pretty.

There were only a few “forehead” kisses ( very strange for Chinese dramas) because the storyline wouldn’t allow for real kisses to occur. I did like the hero, especially when he was in merman mode, but those times were too few. A lot of the storylines and scenery was cheesy, especially where the special effects were concerned. So much redundancy also occurred that it seemed like “perils of Pauline” for both the hero and heroine……And last but not least, a WTF ending……

Don’t know why I kept hoping this drama would redeem itself……smh….
