I was shocked to read this last night!! Over the past few weeks I’d come across articles which were hinting at troubles but didn’t pay much attention so this is so surprising. Speculation is already starting..especially in the way it was announced. Everyone seems to be concluding that he is very angry just by the wording he used..we will never know..nor should we really. I must confess I actually found them a bit of an odd couple from the beginning but that was based on absolutely NOTHING..lol..perhaps they got carried away by their on screen romance and found that the reality was not the same in terms of goals or expectations. One thing I know for sure..when two public figures with established careers get together they probably face more challenges than most…but we have examples of other high power couples who seem to make it work..Rain and Kim Tae-Hee and Ji Sung and Lee Bo-Young..course in both these cases the ladies took a more traditional role and break to have children while their men continued with their careers…anyway..good luck to them both..it’s hard to break up so publicly..

  Celebrity couples are just like us, only PUBLIC. When we fight over money or infidelity or differences in values only our family (or neighbors) know that there is trouble, and unless they’re close (or very nosy) nobody comments on those quarrels. I think that when you’re so acclaimed and so attractive and your relationship becomes the fodder for the gossip grist mills any and all struggles big and small become much harder to fix.
  
  Is it telling that he apparently filed for divorce (and some say without telling her first)? Probably – either he wants to move on or he’s furious with her and this is his way of saying he’s been wronged or who knows what – but it is their private life to deal with.
  
  Right or wrong, fault or no fault, the one thing I can’t stomach are those who clamor for them to be dropped from their commercial contracts, e.g., her from Amore Pacific. That kind of puritanical nonsense should have died out in the last century.

  I totally agree Robin..how utterly silly and unjust that they be dropped by sponsors because of this personal issue..as if they’ve suddenly become axe murderers or something!! Going through the divorce is bad enough and then they have to be punished even more??? What are people thinking??
