I’ve been watching a number of the “Classical Musicians/Vocalists React to Kpop” videos and the most recent one is a reaction to Park Hyo-shin’s beautiful ballad, “Wildflower.” The version they chose to screen is a gem, and I’ll include it below, but this performance is simply perfect.
Of course it’s going to be hot and humid and there’s the chance of (more) heavy rains tonight, but that won’t dampen the excitement of the fangirls and boys. The sound check is later than it was in NJ – about 5:30 – and the concert time is for 8:00.
But get this: there are some idiots who are planning to bring very small children (1 and 2) to the show! (“Waah, I can’t get a baby sitter!”) So instead of being a responsible parent who is aware of the limitations of parenting when you have to put the child’s needs before your own desires, they’re bringing them along! I wonder: do they have to have their own seat?
And not more turned off about heading into Brooklyn, with all its many people, crazy traffic, and no “peace of mind” atmosphere—at least for me, I would jump at the chance to see G Dragon again! He’s heading to the Barclays Center in July—-part of his World Tour— cause I just loved him and Big Bang when we last saw them!
I lived in Brooklyn for a long time, and just no longer feel the joy…..no slight to Brooklyn or Brooklynites…..guess I’m just getting old, sigh…….and sigh again……..
